No...I know it is not a competition...first you have to have a competitor...right? Who asked your opinion? I am retired and I make what I like...I just stated....since you are so talented in pottery to have such a negative opinion and so clever and quick with your loose tonque...PLEASE...post your pottery...for everyone to see or fade away. I am just wondering why it should matter to you...how I decorated my ware. If you can do better then I will understand the validity of your ignorant comment, otherwise it has no more meaning than...if someone ...farted in a crowed room...it stinks and was uncalled for. Let the people on DA decide what they like for themselves. I usually do not react this way, but I quess there is always someone out there that provokes a comment from even the best of people. I went to your sight and was not impressed, if you what my opinion. Why don't you put something on it that doesn't look like an emotional train wreck. ? But like your comment ...that is only my comment! See...what does a simple comment matter to anyone...halloween is over and your site didn't attract my attention either. So...what is your point?
You agree that it's not a competition but still debate with me like if I am from Iraq or something. It wasn't my meaning to hurt you or something. I usually critisize people and want them to do the same with me, it doesn't matter to me if someone is more skilled than I or not. It is inspiring! It does NOT matter to me how you decorate your pottery, my life goes on anyway,but if my opinion can be useful to you, then I give you one. What in my comment do you think is ignorant? I thought I were quite clear in my critics: nice throwing technique, misplaced decoration. keep it clean. If you don't agree, then don't - simple as that! Sure I can post my pottery on DA but you have to wait a week or two, i can send you a note when i've posted them. For example: "I like the colours and the lines but the glaze you use distburbes the shapes, you really should use a more matte glaze than that" or "try to make thinner pots, it looks to heavy".

And please dude, your 60, be a bit more mature. Does it REALLY matter to you how MY art is? Do I really have to be BETTER than you before you listen to my ideas? That is not mature, that is not open minded, that is not constructive att all. Art is about sharing, not about competing or being hierarchic.
